Our Experience
2020 ELECTION:
•Organized, recruited, and led training on 3+ phone banks weekly via ZOOM from May 2020 to January 2021, making roughly 40k calls.
•In addition to Biden/Harris and Ossoff& Warnock, organized and conducted phone banks for Mark Kelly, Jaime Harrison, John Hickenlooper, Sara Gideon, Theresa Greenfield, Cal Cunningham, MJ Hegar, Mike Levin, Katie Porter, Dave Min, Tasha Boerner-Horvath, Kate Schwartz, Terra Lawson-Remer, & Rob Howard.
•Began daily calls for Biden in May 2020 to WI, MI, NV, AZ, CO, NC, FL, PA, GA, MN, TX, ME, NE, IA. Attended numerous English and Spanish virtual phone banks lead by various Dem groups and campaigns, making calls and gathering further insight on the most effective (and often ineffective) ways to conduct trainings and retain a team.
2018 MIDTERMS:
• Thousands of calls with Flip the 49th(CA-49 House race). Initial calls focused on nameless Dems to help ensure we had a Democrat on the ticket. Once Mike Levin secured spot, all calls were for him. Calls were made through both Flip the 49th and Levin campaign directly. Levin won the seat by 14 points; first time Democrat has won the seat.
PHONE BANKING FOR OBAMA ‘12 & CLINTON ‘16
OBAMA PRECINCT CAPTAINS 2008:
• Thousands of calls. Organized hundreds of callers. Two of three leads who organized, trained, and ran 4-day phone bank in San Diego in the days leading up to election day ’08. Several hundred volunteers participated, and we were the largest Obama phone bank in Southern California making roughly 15,000 calls that weekend alone.
With our training and ongoing support, we will show you our proven methodology for maximizing impact on the phones. Some of the things we cover include:
•How to handle nervous volunteers, give them confidence, and empower them.
•How to pace your volunteers’ workloads to keep them coming back and get the most out of them.
•How to work with and around a script.
